Accessibility statement
Draft, pending review
This is a draft of the accessibility statement. It has not been reviewed by an accessibility auditor yet and may change. The final statement will be published before the wider launch.
Our commitment
Lessogo is a platform for registering for classes, courses and lessons. We build it so that everyone can register and manage registrations, also with a keyboard, a screen reader or enlarged text. The target: Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, based on WCAG 2.1.
What we did
- The site is in Hebrew, right to left, with English as a second language, and every page declares its language.
- Everything works with the keyboard alone, including the registration form, the date picker and the signature (you can type your name instead of drawing).
- A "Skip to main content" link, a clear structure of headings and regions, and a visible focus.
- Forms with labels, clear error messages next to the fields, and focus moves to the first error.
- AA color contrast, including each business's brand color (a color without enough contrast is refused).
- Alternative text for images, and a layout that works zoomed up to 200% and on phone screens.
Known limitations
- The map (OpenStreetMap) and videos (YouTube, Vimeo) are embedded from outside services, and their accessibility depends on them. Next to the map there are always Waze and Google Maps links.
- The signed health declaration PDF is a record and may not be fully accessible to screen readers. Its content is also available to the business as a regular page.
- Each business writes its own content (texts, images, videos) and is responsible for its accessibility.
