Private lessons and availability
Private lessons, instructor availability, and how customers book a time.
The lesson
An activity of type "private lesson": a price per participant, a duration, seats (1, or 2+ for a pair lesson), how many days ahead it can be booked (default 30) and the minimum notice in hours (default 12). No sessions are added: each booking creates its own. Pick the instructors who teach it; publishing needs only the price.
Availability
- Instructors → the instructor → "Private lesson availability" (instructors edit their own from "My availability").
- Add weekly hours: weekdays and times.
- Add a date: unavailable (time off, all day or part of it) or extra hours.
- Settings: the slot start interval and the buffer between lessons, in minutes.
Free times are calculated for you: around the instructor's other sessions (group ones too), with the buffer, within the booking window.
What customers see
On the business's private lessons page they pick an instructor (or any free one), a day and a time, then continue to the usual registration. If two people book the same time, only the first gets it.
