Trial lessons and free-trial limits
Trial lessons, the link to the course, and the guards on free trials.
Create an activity of type "trial lesson" and add its sessions. Choose the course it leads to, and the page, the confirmation and the email show "Continue to the course" (while the course is published). The trial credit note is text only: the business applies any actual credit.
Free trials (price 0)
To prevent abuse, free trials have defaults you can change in the activity form (0 = no limit):
- 5 seats per session (set on creation).
- At most 3 participants per registration.
- One free trial per participant every 12 months, matched by email, first name and birth date.
- An email code is required before a free registration.
The limits are checked on the participants step and again on submit. Free trials still include the health declaration and terms, when set.
